I’ve been a big fan of Ms. Oprah from the get-go-ready-start. And just when I thought she had retired from percolating words of wisdom, she comes up with this gem. This advice is solid, it’s right-on, it’s damn straight talk’n.
I hope all the peeps in your posse make you feel as happy as a 3-year-old on a trampoline with an unlimited supply of popsicles on a summer night.
Made of just fresh strawberries, sugar, lemon zest and a little chopped basil to add an extra spring to your step.
Smile…I got belly laughs! These Popsicles are amazingly delicious, more please.
Antony & Remy- More to come.. Summer ain’t over yet. Thanks again to you both. XOXO
I want to see you on the trampoline.
HaHa! James- I got on the trampoline, and would have shared some pics, but my hair went from an up-do to an up-don’t.
Yum!! I’m slightly older than 3 but I’m all over these yummyPopsicles. Thanks Jenny!
Thanks Miss Karen. I think you would LOVE them.
Is it bad that after this wonderful post full of child-like, innocent joy I thought: “These ingredients would make a great sangria!”?
Laura- Not at all girl. And I always LOVE the way you think
I had made strawberry popsicles like these. Never thought of adding basil!
Snehal- Thanks for stopping by. You’ll have to try the basil next time. I think you will LOVE it.

Michele- XOXO,, Love YOU!
Love the pics, pops, and YOU! Amazing as always!
Miss Summer- Thanks a million darling.
That’s what’s missing in my life. Unadorned childish joy!
Greg- I think you should make these popsicles STAT!! THanks for stopping by.
I love this quote. It may be office-posting worthy and possibly make some staff members think. Is that mean of me? Love the looks of these but The Hubs would say, “Why can’t we have regular ol’ strawberry Popsicles?”. He was not a big fan of my watermelon-pepper pops!
Debra- You are the best! I think it’s TOTAL office posting worthy. Maybe the hubs will like the basil.. And your watermelon-pepper one sound off the chain good.
Such a happy, happy post. Every photo made me smile.
Joanne- Thank you soo very much
That’s one of my favorite quotations! I love Oprah!
Maggie- Thanks for stopping by.. Me too!!
I loveeeeee oprah too! I was lucky enough to attend one of her shows from her final season. You have no idea how loudly i was screaming from the audience..lol!

And Angie, that makes ME happy! Have a great rest of your weekend.
Basil is great with strawberries those pops look amazing. And you are definitely surrounded with great company.
Evelyne- Thanks a heap. That was the first time I had combined basil and strawberries and was really pleased. I’ve learned basil isn’t just for pizza. I was recently at a party and someone brought a salad of peaches, tomatoes, basil, etc. and it was wonderful.
Love this post and you! Gotta try to make these!
Thanks sooo much TMAC!! I hope you love them.
Cute! Great recipe for the heat…xo
I couldn’t agree more Junie. Hope you are staying cooool.. These help, I promise.
Having a hard time deciding which looks sweeter, your pops or the young model.
Wizzy- Thanks for stopping by. He’s a cutie for sure.
Yummmmmm!! I need to makes these immediately before I melt away here in AZ!
Christina- Make a double-batch girl.. I don’t know how you’re doing it.. I’m melting in Cali and I know it’s even hotter in AZ. Hope all is well.. XO
It’s just like when you play sports. You always want to play with someone just a little bit better than you. It makes you try harder and improve. Just like in life.
Carolyn- I hadn’t thought of it like that. You are one wise cookie! I need more advice from you.
The popsicles sound soooo refreshing (and probably a great blend with Vodka). The pictures are beautiful as usual. Thanks for sharing, great job Jenny!!
Jenn – Thank you, thank you and more thank youssss’.. I couldn’t agree more with the vodka suggestion. I ALWAYS like the way you think.
These popsicles look absolutely delicious! They would be just perfect to cool down in this crazy heat we have been having!
Christina- Kudos girl! I’ve been melting and I know it’s even hotter in most parts of the states. Thanks so much for stopping by. xo
Fun photos! I recently made strawberry basil vinaigrette so I know this combination of flavors is divine. Frozen, in sweet popsicle form, is probably even better.
Ohhhhh Mary.. Strawberry-Basil vinaigrette? You MUST share that recipe. Sounds heavenly and then some.
The popsicles sound yummy!! Nothing better than fresh strawberries. Cute little one too…..:)
Thanks Linda!! I agree.. Love me some strawberries.
