Just come clean. Just fess up. Haven’t we all left home and come back with some big news? I have a new tattoo? I kissed a girl? I’m now vegan? Well I don’t have any tattoo inspired, girl smooching recipes up my sleeve at the moment, but I do have a scrumdelicious vegan recipe for anyone that loves warm, moist (yes I said the word moist) banana bread combined with an oozing peanut butter cup. This recipe was inspired and adapted from the gorgeous Jenny of Picky Palate. My story and recipe was featured in the holiday issue of Bridges Magazine. And even if you aren’t vegan; you’re gonna swoon for these muffins. They’re sweeter than any girl’s smooch.
Big thanks to my friend Darryl Taylor for the photography help and City Digz for hooking me up with the vintage Pyrex. Bisou Bisou and more Bisousssssssssssss.

Jenny, you cool biker chick! Love the way the vintage Pyrex match the colors of the bicycle. I really should try cycling with wedges because I’m sure that’ll stop traffic! And these banana peanut butter up muffins look positively droolicious, girl

My mouth is watering- I want one! Your fabulousness has no bounds! These sound like the perfect day after Thanksgiving breakfast, full of fruit and protein. Keep rockin that kitchen Jenny!
Thank you Kika!!! What in the world would I do without you?
You re te ga-rooviest Bakerella!!!!!
Miss Pagoda- Thank you sweeties. You pretty darn ga-rooooovy yourself. Smooches.
Look at you!!! Great write-up and published too. I had to laugh at your premise, because whenever my kids hint at sympathy for the animal we’re eating my heart skips a beat and I think ‘please don’t go vegetarian on me’. Let alone vegan. I admire those who have the courage of their convictions, but what a logistical nightmare for me to feed both camps. But you see, your muffins would make it ok.
Ruby- Thank you sooo very much. It always makes me sooooo happy when you stop by! PS. I’m praying your kiddos don’t go vegan!
Those mini muffins are so adorable! And how I love your hairdo
)
Angie- Thank you, thank you and more thank youssssssss!
Just in time for the holidays – sweet Jenny! Have a vegan or two in my circle and never an idea what to whip up for them, so big thanks.
