If Charlie and her Angels were fighting crime today, she’d realize LA wasn’t her scene and decide to take on Manhattan. The crime is more interesting and the fashion is totes more cutting edge. LA may be the tits for fresh figs and farmer’s markets, but Manhattan takes the cake when you want to start investigating desserts. What vixen wouldn’t groove to something made with Angel Food cake, Champagne and shaped like a lollipop? You can make these in your loft or penthouse; just be sure to leave the bad boys at home. Recipe HERE.
Photos by Phil DeFalco shot at Voyeur nightclub. Make-up by Amy Frugard and hair by Disconnected Salon. The only place to get your inner diva did-done.

My sister-in-law does these, they’re great. Great pics too. :->

I recently made cake pops for the first time and am not sure I’ll ever do it again – so much work! But such a result too. I love that you used champagne to bind the crumbs rather than frosting. Only you would think of such a fabulous idea!
Ruby- Oh My GOODNESS!! PSSSTTT.. I was thinking the exact same thing. They may have just a few ingredients, but a ton of work.
Great seeing you here.

Kita darling… You completely made my day! Big, big smooches. xo
You are a Hot Mess! I love it! I’m so glad I found your blog having a great time diggin’ on your funky sexxxy coolness! (The recipes are great too) I made the Sparkling cake pops with Prosecco! Dang! they are ABFAB! I miss that show BTW’s. I added a 1/4 Prosecco back to the crumbled cake though and it made them sort of Drunken Cake pops! Confession: I did make them to take to church coffee hour! The little children were so giggly! And the witchy poos in the Quire were oh so friendly!!!
Keep on Keepin on!
jAMEjAME – Your comment made me laugh so hard, I almost tinkled. Thank you a sparkly heap for stopping by and all your giggly love. Your version sounds much better than mine. You redefine Sunday Funday!!
Angel food cake on a stick?? With champagne?! That sounds like a good plan to me! Now that my sweet tooth is kicked into high gear I’m tempted to give it a shot. Thanks for all your inspiration!
